Powder Flask or Pulverflaske, Transylvania Region, circa 1620

Ancient Powder Flask or Pulverflaske, made in the first quarter of the 17th century, in the characteristic deer horn of the forked type, completely carved and colored with a series of symbols centered on panels repeated with motifs typical of Hungarian or Transylvanian popular culture, a historical region which constitutes the western and central part of today's Romania.
