Wakizashi created by Izumi No Kami Kunisada (Inoue Shinkai 2nd Generation), one of Japan's most important Shinto masters shapers of the period, who lived from 1630 to 1682, is the most popular master of Osaka-Shinto school of which her father Oya Izumi No Kami Kunisada (1st Generation) along with Kunihiro, was a founder. In 1661 he received the Emperor permission to use on his blades the Mon-Kiku (chrysanthemum), was one of the few masters to forge swords for the Imperial Family and the most important Shogun (Samurai families), this thanks to the high quality of his blades.
Izumi No Kami Kunisada, in 1672, became a secular priest beginning to sign their blades as Inoue Shinkai (2nd generation). This Wakizashi turns out to be one of the earliest works of Izumi no Kami Kunisada and forged between (Keian) 1650 and (Shobu) in 1652.
It was built to be destined to fight as packed with exceptional features that make it extremely robust: to confirm this, in the Mune, there are four shoots of fighting called "Kirikomi",this greatly enhances its already great historical value and collectible.
It has a Shinogizukuri Iorimune blade-type.
The Nagasa measuring 45 cm and Sori type Tori of 1.36 cm.
The Moto-Haba measuring 29.3 cm, the Saki-Haba 2.23 cm, the Kasane 0.71 cm and the Saki-Kasane 0.5 cm.
The Kissaki is Chu kissaki type.
The Hada Itame is compact with Mokume Shinogi-Masame.

The blade is housed in an elegant Koshirae dating from the Edo period.
The Wakizashi is accompanied by a certificate of authentic issued by the "Italian INTK", in the Togishi Massimo Rossi signature, and it is present also the certificate of origin.

The blades signed by Izumi No Kami Kunisada (Inoue Shinkai) are considered and classified "National Treasure of Japan", for this reason the few still present in its territory can not be absolutely sold and exported outside the Japanese archipelago.
