Doppelfernrohr 7x50 B/GA Carl Zeiss Oberkochen, Swedish Navy, 1965

Binoculars 7x50B, produced by Carl Zeiss Oberkochen and assigned to the Swedish Navy (Svenska Flottan).

On the left side, we find the Carl Zeiss logo in relief on the rubber and underneath the enlargements as well as the "7x50B" model, while on the right, again in relief on the rubber cover, there is the logo of the Swedish Navy, made up of 3 Crowns placed in a "cone", with the letter M and military "order" number underneath.

Completely covered with a rigid and thick rubber armor, it is a truly well built binoculars and perfect for military marine use thanks also to the construction quality, which has evolved from its predecessors and thanks also to the anti-reflective treatment present on all the lenses (fully coated). Special seals protect the inside of the binoculars from the ingress of dust and moisture. The metal alloys used in its construction are resistant to corrosion and guarantee long life. Thanks to the special eyepiece design and reversible eyecups, these binoculars offer a field of view of 130 m at a distance of 1000 meters when observing with or without glasses.

In the right eyepiece there is the Naval Artillery reticle.

These binoculars are very rare in the 7x50 version intended for the Swedish Navy, unlike the more "common" 6x30.

The focus is precise and the view is perfect, sharp and collimated.
