Clock from the German Imperial Navy, produced by Gustav Becker and supplied to Kaiserliche Marine by A. Schuchmann Wilhelmshaven in 1908 and installed on board U-Boots or on large battle ships. The clock made entirely of brass, has a manual charge mechanism with an eight-day reserve. The glass port located on the front opens through a hinge allowing access to the loading of the mechanism and to adjust the advance or delay of the minutes by means of a lever placed over the twelve o'clock.
On the dial are the name of the supplier A. Schuchmann Wilhelmshaven, the German Imperial German Crown of the 1st Type with "M" underneath (Marine) and the three-digit assignment number, probably referring to one of the early naval bases of the Kaiserliche Marine.
Very perfectly functional.
